Product Introduction
Stretch Film (also known as wrapping film or pallet wrap), CAS No. 9002-88-4, is primarily made from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), with some grades blended with LDPE, mLLDPE (metallocene), and tackifiers. The film is formed via either the cast process or the blown process, then slit and rewound. Cast film offers uniform thickness, high transparency, and low noise, making it suitable for automatic wrapping machines; blown film offers greater toughness and puncture resistance, making it suitable for heavy loads and irregularly shaped cargo. The core value of stretch film lies in its high stretch ratio of 300%–500% and excellent recovery force, which tightly wraps and secures cargo. It also offers self-adhesive cling (no need for tape heat-sealing), high transparency (for easy identification and barcode scanning), dust and moisture protection, and recyclability — making it a standard consumable for modern logistics pallet packaging.

Product Applications
- Logistics and warehousing: Pallet wrapping, cargo bundling, and container transport securing, significantly improving stacking stability and transport safety;
- Food and beverages: Outer wrapping for bottled water, canned food, and fresh produce pallets, providing dust protection, moisture protection, and bundling;
- Electronics and appliances: Scratch, shock, and dust protection for packaging of home appliances, computers, printers, and other equipment;
- Building materials and chemicals: Bundling and packaging of bricks, drummed materials, plastic pipes, and irregularly shaped parts;
- E-commerce logistics and industrial manufacturing: Reinforcement of parcel packaging, and protection for long-distance transport of machinery and components, reducing damage and lost shipments.
Packaging, Storage, and Transportation
Packaging: Supplied in rolls, with paper or plastic cores (inner diameter 37.5mm/50mm/76mm, i.e., 1.5″/2″/3″), standard 4–6 rolls/carton, with cartons optionally palletized; a 20-foot full container holds approximately 15–16 tons. Specifications (width, thickness, roll length, color) can be customized per customer requirements, with color options including transparent, black, blue, green, and others.
Storage: Not classified as a hazardous chemical; store as general cargo. Must be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, protected from direct sunlight and rain exposure — UV rays accelerate polyethylene aging, causing a decrease in tensile strength and cling properties. Rolls must be stored standing upright or laid flat, and must not be folded or deformed under pressure. Contact with acids, alkalis, and organic solvents is strictly prohibited; keep film rolls clean and dry. Keep away from heat sources, with ambient temperature recommended not to exceed 40°C. Under room-temperature, light-protected conditions, shelf life is generally 6–12 months; for long-term storage, it is recommended to turn the rolls once per quarter.
Transportation: Transport as general cargo. During loading and unloading, protect against rain exposure, crushing deformation, and edge impact or scratching, and avoid puncturing the film rolls with sharp objects. Container transport must secure the rolls to prevent rolling or shifting.
